We commissioned Lizzie to create a deeply personal piece of art to represent my family, with my much-loved dad as the heart of it. I have always been drawn to Lizzie’s work - her florals are not only beautiful, but there is something truly special in the way she pours her essence into every piece.
At the time, my dad was in the later stages of his illness, and I knew our time with him was limited. This made the commission incredibly important to me. Lizzie approached the process with such care, taking the time to truly listen and understand the depth of what this piece represented. Her kindness, compassion, and attention to detail made the entire experience feel held, respectful, and deeply special.
The final artwork is breathtaking. A rose bearing my dad’s name sits as the central feature, surrounded by flowers chosen to represent each member of our immediate family. It is not just a painting - it is a living, emotional expression of love, connection, and memory. I am completely in love with the piece. Its beauty still brings me to tears. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lizzie to anyone considering a commissioned artwork. What she creates goes far beyond art - it becomes something you feel, forever.

Excels in imagination and clever construction
Lizzie is first just a great drafter and craftswoman: she makes rendering the most complicated drawings and pictures look natural and childishly easy. That is an incredible skill in itself. But she excels in imagination and clever construction and bringing scenes to life. I loved working with her on her rendering of our home as a “Doll’s House.” Well, saying I worked with her is too much. I sat back and did nothing while she designed it all. She stacked the rooms cleverly and altered perspective and made the house tidy… we even got an upgraded bath! The result is just superb. I could never have imagined it, but thankfully Lizzie could.

Struck by the beauty of Lizzie’s wedding bouquet artworks, I was inspired to commission my wife’s floral arrangement from our magical day together in 2001. The piece was emotionally very poignant for me as I lost Fiona to brain cancer in 2021, and the end result has far exceeded my expectations. I can’t thank Lizzie enough for her care and sensitivity in bringing this wonderful work to life.

I commissioned a painting by Lizzie as a surprise gift for my wife for our 10th wedding anniversary. I knew the work she did, particular floral paintings, was stunning, but I wasn’t sure how best to describe what I wanted. I shared some simple ideas with Lizzie based on the flowers we had at our wedding, and the colours in the room that I imagined it would be hung, and from that Lizzie was able to create the most beautiful painting for us. The gift brought my wife to tears and has pride of place in our living room and is always commented on by guests.
